As you already know, Corona Moms Blog is more than just a blog or online entity given we host various family events throughout the year! While we’re known for our Donuts with Santa or Eggstravaganza, our mission for 2020 is to have more events just for the mamas. So on Wednesday, February 19th, we made that happen with our first ever Moms Night out at Orangetheory Corona.
It was a small, but mighty, class, as instructors gave us a taste of how regular Orangetheory members reach their fitness goals. The class was definitely a fun challenge that incorporated various HIIT movements, with strength and core training mixed in. We were all hooked up to heart rate monitors to measure calories burned and more, providing us with real-time based training. The 60-minute intro class was unlike any other sweat session I’ve personally done, making me push myself to go harder to reach my calorie goals that were shown on TV screens alongside the rest of the mamas and their stats. Everyone in the class literally burned 500+ calories, with one intense competitor ending the session with a whopping 800-calorie burn!
After the sweat session, we were treated to delicious Mediterranean chicken salads by Fit 4U meal prep service based here in Corona. We drank mimosas and wine, indulged in some sweets and talked about mom life for a bit before ending the fun night. We even went home with some goodie bags provided by Orangetheory Corona and left with some new mom friends! Make sure you check them out and Fit 4U in our Fitness Guide, too! Also, thanks to Yazayn Photography for coming out to snap some action shots!
We had an amazing first Moms Night Out event, and look forward to many more in the future, so don’t worry if you missed this one! We ant to know what sort of Moms Night Outs would you be interested in?
