Make a Date For a Mom’s Night Out in Corona

Date Night In Corona

Ahh…February…love is in the air.  Flowers are on sale, chocolate boxes line the grocery aisles and jewelry retailers are cramming ads down our throats.  But how about sharing some x’s and o’s with our friends?

Galentine’s Day is February 11th and National Singles Awareness Day on February 15th so what better time to hang out with the ladies?  Stop putting it off because you were too tired.  Besides, a mom’s night out can lift your spirits and give you that energy you need to take on motherhood.  With that said, below are a few ideas that should help ignite that friendly fire.

A great time with ladies can be had at Live From Memphis. Good food and a live dueling piano bar make this a good choice. Showtimes are on Friday and Saturdays 7-11 pm and Sundays 5-8 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they have karaoke.  Let’s break out of the norm and enjoy some good tunes, moms!

For you movie buffs out there, check out a show at the Crossings at Corona or at The Shops at Dos Lagos. If you’re heading to the Crossings, consider checking out Rock & Brews beforehand for an adult mommy beverage and appetizers with the girls. Oh, and their salads are fantastic!  Then at Dos Lagos, Ra Sushi serves up plenty of good music and yummy poki and sashimi.  My husband especially likes their outdoor patio.  It’s great for dining al fresco in the spring and summer.

Staying In Ideas

Prefer to have friends over at your place but don’t want to spend a lot of money?  Then serve a nice cheese platter and have the ladies bring their favorite wine.  Place their bottle in a brown lunch bag and then have a blind taste test.  Vote on the best one and the winner can take home a prize…maybe a free night of babysitting!  Yes!!

If these ideas aren’t your thing, then a private message or a card will also help to fill your friend’s love tank.  Let them know how much you care and miss them this Valentine’s Day.   And if you have other mom’s night out ideas that you’d like to share, please let us know by leaving a comment.
